Special Report:   2010 Shanghai Expo Countdown

A delegation led by Zhu Shanlu, Party secretary of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province and Nanjing's Executive Vice Mayor Shen Jian on Saturday was updated on the progress of Expo 2010.

The delegation visits the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo  Coordination.

Zhu said Nanjing would share the opportunities created by the Expo by participating in Expo forums and promoting the city's tourism. Nanjing would assist in accommodation as a neighbor of Shanghai, Zhu said.

Zhu Yonglei, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, briefed the delegation on various aspects of Expo 2010.

The delegation was shown through the bureau exhibition hall and saw the master plan. They enjoyed a bird's eye view of the Expo site.
