China says the 3rd Summit Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to be held in Moscow this Thursday is of great importance to the six member countries.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry says the meeting will become a milestone for the Organization and the leaders, including Chinese President Hu Jintao, will discuss the body's future development. They will sign a series of documents on the construction of its mechanism. In addition to joint efforts to crack down on terrorism, the organization will strengthen economic cooperation among its members to contribute to regional peace and stability.
