Chinese President Hu Jintao and his US counterpart, George W. Bush have expressed satisfaction with the two nations' relations and pledged cooperation. The two leaders spoke by phone on Wednesday night.
President Bush congratulated Hu Jintao on China's successful battle against the SARS epidemic. The two leaders also discussed the ongoing nuclear impasse on the Korean Peninsula.
