| Youth League congress closes in Beijing |

The 15th National Congress of the Communist Youth League of China, or CYLC, has closed in Beijing. Over 1,500 youth league members from across the country attended closing session on Saterday.
The congress held its closing ceremony after approving the report of the 14th Central Committee of the CYLC and the amendment of the CYLC Constitution. With new leadership being elected, the five－day congress is seen as having been a successful session to unite and lead Chinese youth in the new century.
Founded 81 years ago and with a present membership of nearly 70 million, the CYLC is the world's largest youth organization. It holds a national congress every five years.
