| Premier Wen urges caution against geological disasters |

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has called for stepped－up attention to the prevention and control of geological disasters in the wake of a major landslide that has left scores of Chinese dead or missing in central China.
Premier Wen on Thursday urged all local governments to improve rainfall and water level forecasting, as well as geological disaster monitoring and warning systems. He also calls on the localities and departments in disaster areas to take good care of evacuees.
