ROK president leaves Beijing for Shanghai

    Republic of Korea (ROK) President Roh Moo-hyun left Beijing Wednesday afternoon for Shanghai to continue his four-day state visit to China.

    In China's financial hub of Shanghai, Roh will meet senior local officials and deliver a speech to ROK entrepreneurs.

    Roh arrived in Beijing Monday as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao, and their meeting was the first since their assuming offices.

    During his stay in Beijing, Roh met with top Chinese leaders, presented a speech at Qinghua University and inspected the Beijing center of ROK-based Hyundai Motor Company.

    A series of cooperative documents were also signed in Beijing.
