29 people have been confirmed dead after an explosion in north China's Hebei Province.
The explosion occurred at a firecracker factory in Xinji city in the southern part of Hebei province on Monday, damaging the factory building and equipment. More than 140 people were injured, including three public security officers. 91 of them are now receiving treatment in hospital.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
