At present, the water level in the upper reaches of the Huaihe River is falling gradually. The water level between Huainan and Wujiadu has fallen 0.04 meters since yesterday. But now the middle reaches of the Huaihe River are rising a little. They are 0.25 to 0.42 meters higher than yesterday.

Meanwhile 930,000 people are holding their ground along the Huaihe River and around the Hongze Lake.
