China has won its first gold medal at the 10th FINA World Championships in Barcelona. Chinese divers Lao Lishi and Li Ting took the women's platform synchronized title on Sunday, with 344.58 points from five dives. Australian and Russian dive teams took second and third places.
On the competition of the men's synchronized three meter springboard diving, China's Wang Tianling and Wang Feng picked the silver medal. Russia's Alexander Dobroskok and Dmitry Sautine won the gold with 369.18 points.
