The 2002 Beijing International University Women's Soccer Invitational Tournament opened with China's national anthem. The first match was between Beijing Normal University and Korea's Yeojoo Institute of Technology. Both teams are equally matched in strength and talent, so the game was very exciting.
The two teams played very well, showing off their skills to the best of their abilities. However, several leading members of the Korea team did not play as well as usual, perhaps because they were a little nervous. In the end, Beijing Normal University's team beat Korea 1 to 0.

The second match was between Tsinghua University and Australia's University of Wollongong. Before the match began, the members of the two teams exchanged presents with each other. The members of the Australia team even stuck their lucky charm, a hippopotamus, on the backs of their chairs. These actions showed a unique carefulness and thoughtfulness that is characteristic of girls, and thus the match took on an element of sweetness before it began.
However, get female soccer players on a field, and different characteristics emerge: bravery and mercilessness. In only 10 minutes, the Australian team managed to score goal after goal, forcing the score board to work hard at keeping up with the game's fast pace.
Although Tsinghua University adjusted its game strategy during the second half of the match, it was defeated 0 to 13 by the Australia team.

The 2002 Beijing International University Women's Soccer Invitational Tournament has been a wonderful tool of communication and has strengthened friendship between the teams' countries and universities. The final scores of the competition were not important in the eyes of the players, and even the final award ceremony became an opportunity for the players to talk with each other and take pictures. The past few days of competition will stay in the team members' hearts forever.

伴随着中华人民共和国国歌的响起，“2002北京国际大学生女子足球邀请赛”也正式拉开了帷幕，首场比赛在北京师范大学和韩国骊洲工业大学之间展开。两支队伍都有着不凡的实力，比赛十分精彩。
两支队伍在本场比赛中的发挥都十分的出色，但是韩国队可能是由于有一点紧张，几位主力队员的发挥并不是很淋漓尽致。最后，北京师范大学代表队以1：0的比分取得了首场胜利。

第二场比赛在清华大学和澳大利亚卧龙冈大学之间展开。在比赛开始之前，双方队员还相互交换了小礼物，澳大利亚队还在他们的休息席后边贴上了她们的吉祥物――“河马”。这一系列的举动也许正体现出了女孩子所独有的细腻，使本场比赛在未开始之前便拥有了一丝温馨。
可是女孩子们一到赛场上，就展现出了她们作为球员的令一面：十分的勇猛。在上半场开始的短短十几分钟内，澳大利亚队就一连踢进几个球，比赛的比分以很快的速度在刷新。
下半场的比赛，虽然清华队调整了策略，但是还是以0：13的比分输给了澳大利亚队。

北京师范大学代表队在循环赛三战三胜，最终取得了比赛的冠军。
其实，“2002北京国际大学生女子足球邀请赛”所搭建的是一个竞技交流、促进友谊的大舞台，最后的比分在大家心目中也不在十分的重要，就连最后的颁奖也成了大家交流、留影的时间，这几天的接触无疑在大家心中留下了十分深刻的印象。
