Part Two: Happy English Study
The camping site of "the English Summer Camp of Spending the Summer of 2002 with the Star of Outlook" is Beijing Tourism Institute, where a wholly new English study and training program is about to start. This interesting study life will surely be full of joy. On the evenfall, friends that just got to know each other came to the garden, talking and imagining, with sweet smiles.
The Interview to Campers
It's the first time I come to Beijing. Beijing is a very big city and it's busy. I love Beijing very much and I love English. So I come here and want to improve my English and show myself. I think it's very necessary to take part in this summer camp. We can improve ourselves and much about English.
Campers were divided into three groups by their ages, and each group is taking oral and listening training by three foreign teachers, which are completely different from normal study in Chinese schools. Campers studied English so freely and happily here.
The Interview to Foreign Teachers and the Members
I like the summer camp because in this class the teacher teaches us many English words.
I encourage all the students in China to come to Outlook, because it really gives them an environment that will be like in the west with foreign teachers. I'm from Canada and we have other teachers from the America.
I like coming. I like teaching children over here. Our teaching method is a little different. Maybe they want to use it in their school. The western style is much more interactive and the students are involved a lot more. It's up to students actually to learn. They have to take part in the class.
I'm hoping to improve my students' English ability, speaking ability and pronunciation.
My students are wonderful. We have a lot of fun in class. I'm afraid they'll go to be shy, maybe or a little quiet. After all, we have a lot of fun, lots of laughs. We all here playing games now, playing basketball. It's just a lot of fun.
It's not like students and teachers. It's more like old friends with the whole bunch of the younger friends
And my students are wonderful. I've had a best time and I enjoy them very much.
In the English Corner, they talked a lot, and they felt that they spoke English much fluently than ever, and communicated with the foreign teachers more easily as well.
In the English singing match held in the afternoon, camp members of each group had a hot competition and their singings were wonderful.
The Interview to Chinese Teacher
This summer camp is very meaningful, exciting and interesting. It is quite different, and students have experienced very different things. They've got excited to learn. The class is very vivid. The teachers are singing and dancing. They all satisfied with it and they enjoyed it a lot.
The English speech competition in the evening is even more exciting. The foreign teacher acted as the judge, worked out the criterion and evaluated finally.
The Interview to Foreign Teacher and Campers
We try to give the children different experience what they would be like to in the west. We give them the environment and we try to make it fun and to make them want to speak English and to encourage them.
I’m very happy to enjoy this summer camp because we can improve our English there and listen to foreign teachers to teach me singing and dance and improve my listening and speaking. I like this summer camp very much.
Campers are dancing and the camp is full of joy. Though only several days getting together in the camp, this happy study life is unforgettable.

【第二部分】快乐的英语学习
在“我与‘希望之星’共度2002之夏英语夏令营”的营地--北京旅游学院的校园里，全新的英语学习和培训活动即将在这里开始，夏令营丰富多彩的学习生活将会充满乐趣。新结识的伙伴相约来到花园，傍晚的云霞，引起了她们的遐想，喜悦洋溢在她们的脸上。
【采访营员】
这是我第一次来北京。北京是一个繁忙的大都市。我非常喜欢北京，我也非常喜欢英语。我来这是想提高我的英语水平并且展示我自己。我想来参加这次夏令营是很必要的。我们能提高自身，尤其是英语方面。
大、小营员根据年龄分成了三个组，分别由三名外教进行口语和听力的培训。跟他们以往在学校的课堂完全不同，营员们在快乐和自由自在的氛围中学习，无拘无束。

我喜欢这次夏令营，因为在这课堂上老师教了我们很多英文单词。
我鼓励所有的中国学生都来到希望英语，因为它给他们提供了一个像在西方一样能与外教在一起的环境。我来自加拿大，我们还有其他来自美国的老师。
我喜欢来这儿教孩子。我们的教学方法有点不同，可能他们想在他们的学校里也使用。西方的方法更加注重互动性，学生们会更多的参与，是学生自己决定学习。他们得参与到课堂中。
我希望能提高我的学生的英语能力，口语能力和发音。
我的学生很棒，我们的课堂上充满了笑声。他们恐怕会有点害羞有点太沉默了，但毕竟我们很开心。我们现在在做游戏，打篮球。这很有趣。
.这不像是老师和学生，更像是老朋友和一大群年轻的朋友在一起。
我的学生们很棒。我度过了最美好的时光，我也很喜欢他们。
“英语角”的活动中，大家谈天说地，他们感觉英语口语从没有象今天这样流利，跟外教的交流好象也容易了很多。
午后进行的英语歌咏比赛上，各组同学互不相让，一声高过一声。

这个夏令营很有意义，很有趣并让人振奋。夏令营很不一般，他们经历了不同的事情，他们很振奋的去学习。课堂上很活跃，老师们又唱歌又跳舞，这很不同，他们喜欢这样。他们都很满足并且很高兴。
晚间的英语演讲比赛更是精彩，由外籍老师做评委，还制定了评判标准，最后由外教进行点评。

我们试图使学生体验他们想要的西方式（学习方法）。我们为他们创造环境并鼓励他们让他们愿意说英语让学英语成为一件有意思的事。

我很高兴参加这次夏令营因为我们在这能够提高我的英语并能让外教教我唱歌跳舞提高我的听说能力我很喜欢这样。
营员们忘情的舞蹈着，营地充满了欢乐。虽然只有短短的几天，但夏令营快乐的学习生活令人流连忘返。
