Recently, there was a series of cultural event called “China’s Roots” that was held in China. The purpose of the event was to unite Chinese from all over the world. Center Stage will bring the audience one of the China Roots events: a concert that brought together artists from China Broadcasting National Orchestra and China Broadcasting National Youth Orchestra.
“Moon and Flowers of Spring River” is regarded as one of the masterpieces of traditional Chinese music because its light and enduring melody gives each instrument the aural space to be played to its full extent. The name comes from a poem of the same title written during the early Tang Dynasty, some 1,400 years ago.
