This facility is called "Jota Studio". It was established by the monks of the Jota Monastery. They invested more than five million yuan in the undertaking. The library is open to the local public -- free of charge. Books are available both in Chinese and Tibetan languages.

A local resident said, "I am interested in books about history and titles on the recent development of the world. In the past, we had no books to read. Now, all of these titles are on offer and they cost nothing. The library is very convenient.
