Spacewalkers Stephen Bowen and Shane Kimbrough hoped to wrap up work on a jammed solar-wing rotary joint and, as a precaution, squirt some extra grease on another joint that works well.
Kimbrough also gave the rotary gear a new dose of lubricant as the solar array cannot accurately track the movement of the sun without a smoothly working gear.
It was the fourth spacewalk for Endeavour's astronauts. The astronauts also worked on a machine that is supposed to recycle waste water into drinking water.
