Chinese President Hu Jintao put forward a three-point proposal for coping with the financial crisis.

Hu Jintao forwards proposal to cope with financial  crisis on leaders summit in the Peruvian capital of  Lima.

First, he calls on all countries to enhance macroeconomic policy coordination, employ all necessary fiscal and monetary means to bring stability to the global financial markets, and stimulate economic growth.

Second, he calls for reforms to help establish a fair and inclusive international financial order that will be more conducive to global economic development.

Third, he calls on the APEC economies to change those models of economic growth that are NOT sustainable, and address their own economies' underlying problems.
