Beijing and co-host city Qingdao make final preparations for the Paralympics

Paralympic delegations are continuing to arrive in China, and Beijing's training venues are being put to good use. And in the co-host city Qingdao, all the sailing teams have checked into the Paralympic Village.

This is the Water Cube, where 21 world records were smashed during the Olympics. The British Paralympic delegation is now training here.

The swimming team won 16 gold medals in the last Paralympics, and they are full of confidence for the Beijing Games.

At the National Stadium, athletes are training hard for one of the Paralympics' most entertaining events -- Wheelchair Basketball.

The wheelchairs are specially made to move fast and they are light to handle. Due to the fierce collisions during competitions, athletes must practice difficult moves like tipping onto one wheel and rolling over.
