American-led raid in Pakistan kills 15 civilians

In Pakistan, An American-led raid there has claimed the lives of 15 civilians, it's bringing widespread anger from the people and the government.

Furor continued to mount over the first known foreign ground assault in Pakistan against a Taliban haven.
The government summoned the US ambassador for an official protest, while the Pakistani Parliament passed resolutions of condemnation.
The incursion early Wednesday was in South Waziristan.
Officials say at least 15 people died, including women and children.
The Foreign Ministry says the raid was illegal.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pakistani Foreign Minister, said, "I say of this shameless incident that it has violated Pakistan's sovereignty and violated Pakistan's territory. Pakistan at this time is struggling against terrorism, it is fighting terrorism. Pakistan is a key ally and friend of the world."
Citizens are also expressing their anger.
Muhammed Naem Khan, Pakistan citizen, said, "I want to ask the whole world to tell America that if only it would withdraw its armed forces from all the countries then there would be peace."
On Thursday, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino declined comment on the raid and Pakistan's reaction.
She said the US has been working closely with the new civilian government of Pakistan, but the incident will likely complicate the already difficult relationship.
