Snipers fired on a motorcade for Pakistan's prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani while it was on its way to the airport to pick him up. Investigators say at least two bullets hit his vehicle.
Meanwhile, Taliban militants operating in Pakistan have claimed responsibility for firing at the motorcade of Gillani. Local TV channels quote Taliban spokesman Muslim Khan, who said that such attacks would be carried out on government leaders in future.
