Highlights of Saturday´s gold winners

Saturday was the penultimate day of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a multitude of teams were in their finest form. China added to its gold medal collection with two more victories.

Ma Lin won the men's table tennis singles championship and led a Chinese sweep at the awards stand. Meng Guan-Liang and Yang Wen-Jun earned their second straight 500m doubles title in men's canoeing.
