Elaine Chao says she believes the closing ceremony will be as fantastic as the opening one.
US Labor Secretary Elaine L. Chao says "This is going to be a special event. And it's not only a historic event for China, but also for the world as well. So as an American Chinese, of course I anticipate to see China once again, and to have the opportunity to participate in the closing ceremony. I'm sure it will be quite particular."
She also says the Beijing Games is an ideal stage for China to introduce its history, culture, and values to the world.
With the Beijing Olympics poised to become the most-watched sporting event in history, this summer's hottest topic in the US is undoubtedly the Olympics.
