Australian police seize 660kg of pseudoephedrine

Australian police and customs said on Friday they have seized 660 kilograms of pseudoephedrine,which is commonly used to make Ice and Ecstasy.

The drugs were imported to Australia in fruit juice containers from Thailand.Four men have been charged with importing the drugs.The pills were found in a shipping container that arrived in Sydney last week.

The operation comes just a week after Australian Federal Police and the Customs Service announced the world's largest seizure of ecstasy.
