Olympic torch concludes Jilin tour

2008 pigeons were released in Songyuan's Olympic Square, before former Changchun official, Li Shu, began the relay. A total of 110 torchbearers passed the torch along an eight-kilometer route. The final torchbearer was actress Bai Qing.
The Olympic Flame then moved on to Jilin city in the afternoon. The first torchbearer, Wang Chunli, began the relay at two p.m. in the city hall square. Wang Chunli is one of China's top skiers, winning a gold medal in the sixth Asian Winter Games. 108 torchbearers passed the torch along a 7.7-kilometer route.
