Xi Jinping concludes inspection in HK

Vice President Xi Jinping has wrapped up his three-day visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region after meeting with members of the Government Flying Service, or GFS.

Xi Jinping arrived at the GFS headquarters near Hong Kong International Airport on Tuesday to thank more than 120 members from the GFS, the Fire Service and the medical and epidemic prevention teams for their recent efforts in the rescue and relief work in earthquake-hit areas of Sichuan Province.

After Hong Kong government officials briefed Xi on the city's contribution to the rescue and relief work, he expressed his sincere thanks to them on behalf of the central government and the people of Sichuan.
