Israel says the makeshift rocket landed Monday near a kibbutz bordering Gaza. There were no injuries.

Israel closed cargo crossings with Gaza on Tuesday, accusing militants of violating the cease fire.

Israel's prime minister says his government is committed to the security of the country's southern residents.

Ehud Olmert, Israeli Prime Minister, said, "Nothing will stop us, this government that I lead, nothing will stop us in this struggle that we are making to bring calm, to maintain the security of all the residents of the south."
