DPRK calls on US to drop hostile policy

The DPRK says it welcomes the U.S. move to drop the country from a terrorism blacklist. Quoting foreign ministry sources, DPRK's state-run television called on Washington to completely end a "hostile policy" so that it can move forward in scrapping its nuclear arms program.

KRT news presenter said, "The U.S. announced it has started a process to drop us from a terrorism blacklist and it will end its hostile trade polices against us. We take this as a positive action and welcome. The action of the U.S., which is dropping those key polices against us as a hostile country, should be developed to completely ending a hostile policy against us. Then the denuclearization process will be move forward smoothly."

The statement said the nuclear declaration the DPRK submitted to China on Thursday was complete and accurate. It came in response to a promise by the US that it may remove the DPRK from its blacklist.
Meanwhile, the DPRK promised to fulfill its commitment while abiding by the "action for action" principle.
