Olympic flame travels through Pingyao

After travelling through Yuncheng city, Shanxi province this morning, the torch has now arrived in Pingyao.

Wang Zhaoli started the relay at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Wang is a former wrestling world champion, and now coaches at the Sports College of Shanxi Normal University.

104 torchbearers took part in the 5.5-kilometer relay. Pingyao lies about 80 kilometers from the provincial capital, Taiyuan. It's renowned for its well-preserved ancient city wall, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
