A heat wave continues to roast Italy. Eight Italian cities are baking under temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius.

A heat wave continues to roast Italy.  Eight Italian cities are baking under  temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius.

Around Rome, tourists are cooling off in some of Rome's famous fountains. Italians are being warned that the heat wave could pose health risks to the elderly, young children and people with heart difficulties.

Italy's Ministry of Health has organized emergency call centers for the elderly during heat waves in the past few years.
