Vice President: China willing to improve cooperation with DPRK

Vice President Xi Jinping is in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the first leg of a five-nation Asian tour. He has discussed bilateral ties and other important issues with DPRK leaders in Pyongyang.

During his meeting with Kim Jongnam, President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Xi spoke highly of relations between the two countries.

Xi Jinping also exchanged views on bilateral ties and cooperation, Yang Hyong Sop, vice president of the Presidium of Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK. Xi's next stops will be Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen.
