The tomb of Emperor Yan in Baoji, Shaanxi Province is still standing, but just barely. The earthquake broke many of the pillars in the thousand-year-old complex.

Sun Rungu, Chief Official of Administration of Emperor Yan's Tomb said "We've just received the investigation results from the city's cultural heritage authority. The main palace, the Bell and Drum tower, a square in the backyard and some outer walls have all been identified as dangerous buildings. Most of them have to be rebuilt."

The museum in Qingchuan county is home to irreplaceable relics that are under national protection, as well as many items from the Red Army period.

PLA soldiers have helped send them to Guangyuan city.
