Chinese overseas in Canada donate money to help quake vicims

In the Canadian capital Ottawa, hundreds of local residents have donated money for the people affected by the disaster in China.

Overseas Chinese from Sichuan province have established the "Canada Sichuan Earthquake Relief Committee" to help the earthquake victims. And at one of the city's supermarkets, overseas Chinese rushed to donate money for survivors in the quake-affected areas.

Last Monday's massive earthquake disaster has captured the attention and concern of many overseas Chinese. Many say they feel compelled to do their bit to help out at this difficult moment.
