At the 16th congress of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development, speakers from member countries expressed deep concern regarding China's earthquake.

In return, the Chinese representative, National Development and Reform Commission vice chairman Du Ying thanked them. Du says that with the support of the international community, the Chinese government and its people will certainly recover from this disaster.
