The death toll from Myanmar's cyclone keeps rising with 3,480 more people killed, bringing the death toll to almost 32,000. More than 29,000 people remained missing.

Twenty percent of the country's power supply has been restored and traffic has gone back to normal. International humanitarian aid has been pouring into Myanmar since last week with aircrafts carrying relief materials from different countries and organizations landing at the airport one after another.

China's Red Cross has sent a shipment of aid to Myanmar. It's worth 216,000 yuan or more than 30,000 US dollars. The first US military aid flight to Myanmar has landed in Yangon. But emergency supplies are trickling in for the 1.5 million people facing hunger and disease.
