China UnionPay is doing its bit to make travelling to Japan easier for Chinese tourists. The China UnionPay Card is widely accepted in many stores including Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya -- all popular city-choices for Chinese travellers.

Latest figures show that by the end of April, more than 10,000 Japanese stores had begun accepting payment through these cards, which can also be used in a large number of ATMs across Japan.

And China UnionPay says it's prepared to ensure more currency for the card, while strengthening cooperation with Japanese financial institutions.
