Hu Jintao arrives in Japan

China's President Hu Jintao has arrived in Tokyo. His state visit is the first to Japan by a Chinese president in a decade and is aimed at boosting strategic and mutually beneficial relations between China and Japan.

During the next five days, Hu Jintao is expected to meet with Emperor Akihito and hold talks with Prime Minister, Yasuo Fukuda.
