A two-room property could fetch up to 2000 yuan per day during the Games. This is almost as much as monthly rents during normal, non-Olympic times.

So far, there are few customers who have yet to show a willingness to deal with landlords with such high expectations. Most real estate agencies say they have not signed a contract with customers on these high-priced properties.
