DPRK testfires short-range missiles off western coast

SEOUL - The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) test-fired several short-range missiles into the sea off its western coast, Yonhap News Agency quoted sources as saying Friday.

The reported launches came a day after South Korea withdrew officials from the inter-Korean industrial complex in the DPRK, the agency said.

The missiles were believed to be Russian Styx missiles, Yonhap said.
