Endeavor's commander Dominic Gorie said afterwards that it had been a very rewarding mission, with excitement from start to finish.
Endeavor blasted off into space on March 11th in a night-time launch.
It delivered a Canadian-built robot and the first component of Japan's orbital laboratory Kibo to the space station.
