Separate from the survey, China's central bank also released a monthly report on the country's financial markets Thursday. The report says the country's financial market was steady in February. The PBOC adds interbank bonds issue increased significantly compared with the same period of 2007, while turnover in the stock market fell sharply.

During the first two months of this year, newly issued interbank bonds reached 310 billion yuan, nearly trippling the amount from the same period last year. Long term bonds was a major contributor to the hike.
As for stock trading, the report says there's been a downward trend since the beginning of the year. Average daily turnover of the Shanghai market stood at about 89 billion yuan as of March 1st. This was about 50 billion yuan lower compared to amonth earlier.
