US Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill made the comments after meeting DPRK's Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan in Geneva.

Hill says the talks were probably the most substantive that Washington has had with the DPRK since problems developed in December.

Hill will report to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice before going into more detail. Hill went into the Geneva discussions insisting that Pyongyang fully reveal all details of its nuclear weapons programme.
