EU Commission president arrives in Beijing for China-EU summit

The president of the EU Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso,has arrived in Beijing to attend the 10th China-EU summit on Wednesday.

Barroso is expected to meet President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao. He will also deliver a speech at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, and visit the "798 art district" in northeastern Beijing.

The annual China-EU Leaders' Meeting was inaugurated in 1998 in London.
