Senior CPC official: China values friendship with Vietnam

Senior CPC official Liu Yunshan is in Hanoi where he met with Truong Tan Sang, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Liu Yunshan said China values its friendship with Vietnam, that dates back to the old generation of leaders from the two countries. He said the Chinese government and the new leadership of the party will continue to work closely with Vietnam. They will contribute to achieving sustained peace and common prosperity in the region.

Truong said Vietnam will strengthen communications and its relations with China.
