British Princes William and Harry took to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium on Sunday. They were hosting a star-studded concert to celebrate the life of their mother, Princess Diana on what would have been her 46th birthday.

The brothers greeted about 70 thousand fans at the venue, and millions more watching the event on television and thanked them. The crowd cheered as Sir Elton John played the piano and sang "Your Song". The memorial concert mixed rock, pop, hip-hop, and classical ballet.

This was an unusual sight at the newly built glass-and-steel stadium which is usually reserved for football games.

Security was tight after the discovery of three failed car bombs in London and Glasgow. Over 400 officers patrolled the concert.
