For people in China, the image most closely associated with Spain is a triumphant bullfighter or a twirling Flamenco dancer. But there's a different side to the land projecting across the Iberian peninsula; equally vivacious, passionate and sensual. It's an aspect brought to life on canvass, by some of history's most famous artists. A current exhibition at Beijing's National Museum of Fine Arts invites you in for a glimpse.

From Titian to Goya is the title given to the exhibition presented in the Chinese capital by Spain's Prado Museum. As the name suggests, the showing is abundant with great names. Titian and Goya take positions of the early and late stages of the representative period.

The exhibition starts with Titian, whose "Venus Recreating in Love", insured for ten million Euro, or one hundred million RMB, is the single most valuable work at the exhibition.
