The testimonies of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Amir Peretz and former army chief of staff, Dan Halutz have been released. These relate to last summer's war with Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon.

The testimonies were given before the Winograd Committee, during its probe into the failures relating to the 34-day Israel-Hezbollah conflict.

The transcripts were posted online on Thursday morning. The release comes less than two weeks after the committee published its scathing public report on the government's handling of the conflict.

The transcripts show Prime Minister Ehud Olmert telling the government commission that he didn't think there was "any option" -- but to strike Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas -- immediately after they attacked Israel.
