Wu: US, China set up exchange mechanism to develop relations

Sino-US relations has broad development prospects and the base of their cooperation and strategic content are enlarging. That's according to China's top legislator Wu Bangguo at a meeting with a delegation from the US congress.

Wu spoke positively about Sino-US relations. He said China's National People's Congress attaches great importance to the development of relations with US congress and has set up a regular exchange mechanism with the two houses of US congress.

Wu Bangguo said the visits by US senators and representatives have improved mutual understanding and cooperation. The US delegates expressed their willingness for making more contributions to Sino-US relations.
