BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- What clues have the police unearthed so far? as a massive manhunt is over 10 days under way Friday to find the murderer of five women in Suffolk, Britain.

Psychologists believe the killer is a white male, aged 25-40. He is calm, organised, plausible and intelligent. He may be a loner with sexual problems. If married, he may have a job with unsociable hours, perhaps a driver. An accomplice could be involved.

Police are searching for a dark blue BMW, which Anneli Alderton, one of the five victims, got into.

A colleague of Alderton insists she saw the 24-year-old get into the car in Handford Road, on the night of Dec. 7, with a man described as chubby with glasses and short dark hair, adding she had given a statement to detectives.

Psychologists are also trying to decode clues about the way some of the bodies were left apparently "laid out," possibly with voyeuristic overtones.

Meanwhile, the police said the killer had left a "calling card," and all five victims were strangled naked but still wearing jewellery.

Suffolk residents remain convinced the killer is local as the locations where the bodies were dumped would only be known to someone familiar with the area.
