An investigation into the source of the recent SARS cases in south China is still under way.

In an update today in Guangzhou, the World Health Organization and China's Ministry of Health have confirmed that samples taken from the workplace of one of the two suspected SARS patients have tested positive for the virus.

The investigators say they have gathered more samples from Guangzhou's biggest animal market as well as from the homes of China's suspected and confirmed SARS cases. But there have been no conclusive results so far for tests on the animal market samples. The health experts say they can not totally rule out a possible connection between poultry and the deadly disease.
