2003 APEC Informal Leadership Meeting enters Day 2

In Bangkok,leaders from the 21 members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation have begun the concluding session of their annual meeting.

The second-day session, called "Retreat II," began about 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday and will last about 75 minutes.

It's being held at the Anna Samakhom Throne Hall, which formerly housed the parliament building.

Before beginning their round-table discussion, the leaders posed for a group photo, wearing traditional silk attire made in Thailand. After a lunch break, the leaders will issue a joint declaration shortly after 1 p.m. in Bangkok.
