Space scientists in Beijing have begun examining the Shenzhou V spacecraft after its successful 21-hour journey into orbit this week. The data recorded during the space trip, including an experiment on crop seeds, is to be analyzed.

The re-entry capsule landed in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region early on Thursday morning with China's first astronaut, Yang Liwei aboard. It was carried back to the China Academy of Space Technology in Beijing on Friday. Scientists examining the capsule say, it is in good condition and will hopefully provide information useful for future space missions.
