Fans across the world are mourning the death of Michael Jackson,the "King of Pop", and one of the world's biggest celebrities. Hundreds of Michael Jackson fans gathered outside the UCLA Medical Center to pay tribute to their idol on Thursday night.

Jackson died on Thursday at the center after being stricken at his home in Los Angeles. His brother, Jermaine, said it is believed he suffered cardiac arrest. But, he added that the cause of his death "is unknown until results of the autopsy are known."

Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother, said, "His personal physician, who was with him at the time, attempted to resuscitate my brother. As did the paramedics who transported him to the Ronald Reagan

UCLA Medical Centre. Upon arriving at the hospital at approximately 1.14pm, a team of doctors including emergency physicians and cardiologists attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour and they were unsuccessful."
